The Coleman^® Camping Hot Water On Demand^TM Portable Water Heater is one of the most novel ideas in outdoor accessories to come along in a long time.  Coleman camping equipment has been known for being among the leaders in outdoor products for years and their self-contained portable water heater is yet another one of their innovations.

Instead of heating water in a pot over your propane stove or the camp fire, you can substitute this unique piece of outdoor gear.  It is propane fueled and can be used any time hot water is needed.  It is simple to use and fast.   A collapsible five gallon bladder is filled, a desired temperature is selected on the integrated dial and within five seconds hot water up to 160˚ is dispensed from the heater's faucet.   The unit uses the same one pound propane bottle that is common to many other camping gear accessories and can heat up to forty gallons on just one bottle.  Potable water must be used.  The water is pumped from the heater using an electric pump powered by a rechargeable battery.   This unit cleans easily, is relatively small at only 20"x20"x12" and fairly lightweight at less than 25 pounds empty.
